"Came A Long Way" is an album by South African rapper Co Bell.
It was released by Twotella Records on July 4, 2022. The album comprises of
eleven tracks and was produced by Art Berman, SvM3K, Sosa, Razaq, Fregit and Co Bell.
The album doesn't feature any artists and it was supported by a lead track "Problms". .
The album is the follow-up to his EP 'Co Bell, I Am What You See' (2020).
Co Bell recorded all songs of the album in South Africa, Johannesburg, Braamfontein at TwoTella Records studios,
Revolution media academy (partnered with Kid X), and MMC Recording. Recording sessions started in 2019 to 2021.
The album received positive and negative feedback from music critics,
who mostly commended its trap sounds and Co Bell's versatility of his rapping style.
Co Bell said "it is an album, you don’t listen to for a day and make up your mind".
The album was influenced by a real events, Co Bell paints a picture of his reality and in the trap sound,
he pays homage to how to feel when heartbroken by bad relationships with women and friends.
The album inspired by a real event, and it is a self-reflective piece of art; the songs on the album highlights the flexibility
of Co Bell as an artist and has been described as a tribute to his career and his story telling.
"Came a long way" focuses on themes of betrayal and victimhood.
Co Bell wanted to showcase his diversity and that he can tap in different moods and connect with different people.
Co Bell descrite that making of each song of the album's format and attitude during the recording sessions. Making
sure it begins and ends well and is intact with the concept of story telling. The production of each song was handled by
different producers from the world Art Berman, Razaq , Co Bell himself(South Africa), SvM3K (Poland), Sosa (UK), Fregit (India) and it was
Mixed and Mastered in South Korea by South Korean record producer Kyung Kim-rip.
The album is available online stores worldwide, support Co Bell and stream and download his music.

Good African sound
The album's lead single "Problms" was released in 2020. The accompanying music video for "Problms" was directed by Popoh Films. In it, Co Bell spots a girl in the streets with his friends and tries his best to approach and convince her to join his world. Most of the video's footage was shot in the streets of the capital city of South Africa, Pretoria. The music video premiered on his YouTube channel on February 12, 2021.
